Honemaru is a naughty cheeky skeleton
Our character is a social influencer from Hell. He intertains himself dancing for the devil and throwing rave parties in Pandemonium. In English his name would be ‘John Bone’, as the Japanese kanjis are -hone (bone) and -maru (boy name).
Honemaru is pro-gay, a very good LGTBQ+ ally, as he also belongs to the community. You will see him in all the podiums of Hell dancing with his jockstrap, harnesses and fans at the beat of the gay circuit parties.
Design process
Honemaru was created from a few sketches and a quick catchy idea. See in Tiktok or Instagram reals a quick video of the creative process; from rapid strokes to a full fleshed design. The sofware used has been Adobe Photoshop with some custom brushes.
